COVID-19 Policies

Effective 12/22/21

  • Customers must provide a proof of vaccination + matching photo ID OR Negative COVID Test + matching photo ID to purchase a ticket.   
  • Physical cards, printed copies, digital photos, and app-based cards (Apple Wallet, etc.) are accepted proofs of vaccination.
  • Accepted negative COVID tests:
    • Antigen test results within 12 hours
    • PCR test results within last 48 hours
  • COVID test results must be accompanied by a matching photo ID and have the provider’s name (Walgreens, ConvenientMD, Mid Coast Hospital etc.), date of the test and result clearly visible.  Results from over-the-counter kits like BinaxNOW that don’t have a paper trail will not be accepted.     
  • Children under 12 years old are exempt BUT must always wear masks (except when actively eating and drinking).

Existing protocols:

  • Stay home if you are feeling sick.  We are happy to provide refunds if you purchased tickets in advance.  E-mail operations@eveningstarcinema.com
  • A mask is required in the common space, restrooms, concession stand/box office area and in the theater (expect when actively eating and drinking). 
  • The staff is fully vaccinated and will be wearing masks when selling tickets and concessions. 
  • The HVAC system in the theater has been upgraded with a UV Ionizer and MERV13 filters.  The fan will be on continuously during all showtimes and air is turned over the in theater approximately 9 times an hour.
  • We will be actively monitoring theater capacity during busier showtimes to encourage spacing.
  • The staff is fully vaccinated and will be wearing masks when selling tickets and concessions. 
  • Hand sanitizer and wipes are available in the theater. 
  • Staff will sanitize high touch areas in between showtimes.
